COURSE DETAILS

  • Your application should be made at 15 days before the start of the course.
  • Price: R 32 500 per individual (excluding VAT).

Assessments:

  • Formative assessments are given after each section of work to conduct in-process evaluations of student comprehension, learning needs, and academic progress.
  • Students will be required to submit a portfolio of evidence after completion of each module.
  • These assessments lead to entrance into the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA).
  • The EISA will be conducted through the relevant QCTO Assessment Quality Partner (AQP) and will focus
    on the exit level outcomes and associated assessment criteria.
  • Students will complete a theoretical/knowledge assessment and a practical assessment structured as simulated activities conducted at an assessment site that is conducive for assessments.

Certification:

The QCTO will issue the qualification certificate to successful candidates on completion of the EISA.

Directing the development and delivery of youth empowerment and work readiness interventions throughout South Africa. Managing the development and roll out of an accredited, NQF level 5, Career Development Information Officer Qualification. Providing strategic input into the management of the Options Group.

Mlungisi Nxumalo

Skilled youth and community facilitator with significant experience in youth empowerment, personal financial literacy and work readiness. Successfully rolled out training programmes nationwide. Holds N.DIP Accounting and a B. Com degree, coupled with a fifteen-year career in accounting, chose to follow a deep interest in youth and community upliftment by developing a second career in youth and community development. Has extensive experience and skills in facilitation and development, including encouraging community participation, exploring effective training methodologies, team building, training programme design, PowerPoint presentations, public speaking and motivational talks.

Mpho Mohatle

Highly skilled facilitator with over nine years’ experience, encompassing training over 15000 beneficiaries throughout all nine provinces in South Africa, delivering programmes such as youth empowerment, work readiness, financial literacy skills, entrepreneurship, business planning and organisational development Strong facilitation and presentation skills enhanced with self-study, attendance of numerous courses and attainment of ETDP SETA accredited certificates. Has appeared on two occasions as a guest of SABC 1 Take 5 program on Youth Entrepreneurship and has been featured in an SA Export Magazine.

Sizwe Mayekiso

An accomplished facilitator who has a passion for empowering and developing youth and communities through training programmes such as work readiness, financial literacy and personal development. Committed to mentoring and counselling unemployed youth. Thirteen years facilitation experience encompassing the training of individuals throughout South Africa.
