INFORMATION OFFICER
A Career Development Information Officer (CDIO) is qualified to inform groups and individuals about their career development and career pathing. CDIOs also provide guidance and counselling regarding career planning and decision making.

The only formal, registered qualification for delivering Career Development Information Services in South Africa.
On completion of this NQF Level 5 Occupational Certificate, a graduate will be qualified to practice as a Career Development Information Officer (CDIO).

Practical Skills Component
Module 1: Provide assistance to clients to enable them to make informed career related decisions
Module 2: Facilitate information sharing processes with groups that will assist with career related decisions
Module 3: Maintain an efficient and effective career information service
Work Experience Component
Module 1: Individual career development information sharing processes
Module 2: Group career development information sharing events
Module 3: Maintenance of efficient effective career information services
